Mirror, Mirror on the wall

Who will I make believe to be

So, I can hide

From every to see

The real void inside of me.

Will I paint my lips red

That hold back these screams

I keep deep inside of me?

Do they make you want to kiss me?

Like they say it will.

Line my eyes

So, you can stare into them

But ignore the tears I did behind them.

Blank stare into my mirror

All my secrets you will never tell.

Color my cheeks blush red,

So, I can bring some color

To this darkness within me.

Lips pursed together

As they are forced into a thin line

Barely managing to push a small smile.

Mirror, Mirror on the wall,

This is who I’ll be for all to see

As you’re the only one

To see the real me

So promise me

That all my secrets I tell you,

you will keep.
