Jealousy This jealousy in killing me As it eat me alive From deep inside I cannot hide Why I can’t bury it inside? As we enjoy these moments we share, Why does it feel like you’re not here? As I close my eyes I envision us there Laughing & kissing, two kids in love But slowly, day to day I start to fear You envision the same dream Except I’m not her. Glances exchanged At the thought I wasn’t looking. Have I gone so blind that I started believing maybe I created this dream of a happily ever after and mostly you must forgive me. This jealousy within me Is not for her, As much as it’s for me.

This jealously is reminding me The love I feel may not be mine. Lies I have told myself To believe this world could be real. So I work to love myself everyday So I can say I live Lived past this jealousy.
