I do, Do I not?

Do I not breath the same

do my lungs not inhale

the same air

that you see me

belittled by your own opinions.

Do my eyes see

differently than yours?

Do I not see

what you clearly see

in front of you?

No matter what mirror

I look into

will I ever see,

what you see?

Do I not bleed?

Is my blood not red?

Will I not feel pain?

That you look upon me

wishing only harm,

as if you would not

feel the pain if done to you

or do you think

the pain will numb me?

Numb my curiosity

of what it is

that makes me different.

I grow old just as you,

I breath, sleep, eat the same.

I am you except instead of hate

I am placed with curiosity,

curiosity of what makes us different,

difference when found, I would celebrate

not hate.

that is the only difference

I see.
