Where have you gone off to?

Oh Louisa,

Where you hiding when I need you?

You told me you’d keep my secrets,

Without hesitations,

I whispered into your ears

All my regrets.

Oh Louisa,

Where did you run off to?

Leaving me alone here

In my misery.

Did my words scare you?

Did the things I said

Make you think differently of me?

Oh Louisa,

Where could you be?

Why won’t you answer me?

Did your fear overcome your love

that you once had for me?

Or was it that I was too broken to fix?

Or did you just not want to try at all?

Oh Louisa,

I’m sorry, I should have known

That you weren’t ready

For those wars are scars sewn,

Sewn deep within me.

My poor Louisa,

I’m sorry, you just weren’t ready

Ready to know the real me.
