Hand in heart, palm pressed flat

Do you feel that?... it's a heart beat.

There's a warmth, that oozes through your body.

First your chest, through your arms,

It spreads throughout, what is this feeling?

Soo different

Was this the first time someone touched your heart?

With the warmth, a sudden pain spread.

Your body chokes, you can't breathe, then you realize,

you feel it trickle down your face, then the warmth stops,

where the hand laid against your hear, it bleeds and you feel the pain

the feeling's overwhelming.

you can feel the fight stopping, your body's stopped fighting

your heart stopped fighting.

The sudden pain becomes overwhelming; you've lost the battle.

You can't recognize this pain,

but you know you've lost, so you sob softly.

The sadness spreads, you finally open your eyes to the battle you've just lost.

Look down at the hand in your hear, the blood's gone.

You look up and stare back at the eyes

that have been starting at you,

the warmth returns as the hand reaches into you, into your hear

you sob softly,

you have lost the battle.

Your heart is in his hands now.
